Town NameTown Name:- Arbroath

The camp at the mouth of the Brothhock Burn. (Gaelic= brothaig -"little boiler")

In 1320 Robert the Bruce signed Scotland's declaracion of independance  in Arbroath Abbey, which was founded by King William in the 12th century and the town was made a royal burgh in 1600. King william is buried in the abbey.
